The Exotic Feline Rescue Center

The EFRC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1991 by Joe Taft in Center Point, Indiana to provide permanent homes for exotic felines that have been abused, abandoned, or for some reason have nowhere to live out their lives, while educating the public about these beautiful cats. The EFRC does not buy, sell or breed these animals. Today, nearly 200 lions, tigers, leopards, pumas, bobcats, servals, ocelots, a Canada lynx, and a leopard cat (9 different species from 20 states and the former Yugoslavia) call the EFRC home. The EFRC is a national leader in the rescue and care of exotic felines from all around the country.  The EFRC is USDA licensed and inspected.
